Decom

--Using the state level fire codes developed for fire performance for Decom.
--Diane needs to have an updated group website for the permitting process. There needs to be a separate site for the event. We will have the SunDBurn website direct to the FuegoDiego site.
--We have a contract with Kirk and Noor.
--Once we have the certificate of insurance we can file for the permits.
--The event website goes live this weekend, including ticket sales.
--Diane has DPW and Administration budgets.
--LLC-22 paperwork needs to be updated to reflect our current make-up. Brady will work on it this
week.
--Diane needs a check for $534 for the permit.

Accountant—still hasn't filed 2007 and 2008 taxes and the Quickbooks disk is blank. (ediit: it is not blank, it is just not a compatable file type- Brady) We have a printout, but might need to input it again. Julie will ask her tax guy if he will do llc tax work.

San Diego Fire Coalition—Town hall meeting with 30 people representing a bunch of different fire groups. It seems that fire spinning without a permit is illegal if there is any audience at all whether they are intentional or not. Fire performers want to create a single legal space and build coalitions with police and fire marshals and permitting authorities. Brady will work on introducing them to the San Diego Arts and Culture Commission. Brutus suggests inviting fire marshals to a beach burn. Also PR campaign. The court case will be in the next few weeks.

Beach Burn—This Saturday man statue to burn. Wood available at Brian's house. Brady has wood too.

BWB—Made $3500-4000. Donating $3000 to Xara Garden School for a playground.

Arts and Culture Commission—no go this round for their presentation. Brady is working on introducing SDBurning Man activities to Arts and Culture Commission through a
Power point presentation. This dovetails with introducing the San Diego Fire Coalition to the Commission.

Calendar—Scheduling conflicts with BWB—need to work out master yearly calendar including Pride, ComiCon, OTL, etc.
